La série nous raconte les aventures d'une bande d'amis Brandon, Brenda, Dylan, Kelly, Donna.... depuis le lycée jusqu'à leur entrée dans la vie active. Issus de famille riche de Beverly Hills, ils sont néanmoins confrontés à des problèmes de famille, d'amitié, d'argent et même de drogues et de sexe.
